Harkerville is a small village just 14km outside Plettenberg Bay, 1 km off the N2.
The Harkerville Market is rural and rustic, but vibey and vital – not a flea market, not just a craft market, not only a farmers’ market – but definitely all you could ever hope for in a typical South African Saturday Market.
Kranshoek Viewpoint and Picnic Site is one of the most beautiful spots on the southern Cape coast. Kranshoek offers the visitor cliff-top views of the coast and a warm, sheltered picnic site. There is even a stream, with frogs, for the children to play in.
The Harkerville Mountain-bike routes offer some of the finest mountain-biking in South Africa. There are three route-marked tracks, all include sections of “off-road” riding along forest paths.
In close proximity you will find lots of interesting places to visit like birds park, elephant & wolf sanctuary, river boat trips, sea going trips, wildlife santuary, forest exploration trips, mountain biking, hiking, deepsea fishing, and plenty more exciting things for you to explore.
