Bains Kloof Pass
Just over an hour from Cape Town and you can be in the most beautiful surroundings of Mount Bain Private Nature Reserve. The scenery quickly draws you into the serenity of the Cape Mountains, vineyards and your very own crystal clear river to bliss out in.
Bainskloof Pass reaches 594 metres at its highest point. Here, the road joins the Witte River, which descends the northern side of the mountains through a precipitous cleft to a stretch of rapids, waterfalls and natural pools. Bainskloof Pass is now a national monument.
