Hazyview is well-known for its banana plantations and is said to have the best climate in the world for growing bananas. The town gets its name from the shimmering haze that floats above the ground on hot summer days.
The town borders the Kruger National Park, most of the province’s private game reserves are found just east of Hazyview.
Hazyview is ideally situated to explore all the well-known attractions in the Lowveld, and the Panorama – God’s Window, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, waterfalls and Pilgrim’s Rest.
