Situated 300 meters from one of the finest bathing beaches in Cape Town, and with shops and restaurants conveniently just around the corner, Sea Winds is the perfect place to relax on holiday.
Seawinds is a modern, fully equipped self catering house situated in the seaside town of Fishhoek. The house décor is in keeping with a marine theme of light breezy whites and shades of blue and the open plan living spaces with terracotta tiled floors lend themselves to the relaxed holiday feel.
Seawinds can sleep 6-8 people in 3 bedrooms, each with 2 beds ( double bed in the main bedroom) and an additional sleeper couch in the lounge. It offers two modern bathrooms, the en suite with a shower and family bathroom with bath. A spacious lounge leads to a dining area, which adjoins an open plan kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all conveniences including a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, fridge and stove with oven. The lounge and main bedroom enjoy views onto a secluded garden, which is fully enclosed and ideal for relaxing in or for families with young children. There is also a lovely French style sheltered patio/ barbecue area at the entrance to the house.
Whether you want to go to the beach or the shops or dine at one of the restaurants, it is all a 3 minute walk away. Alternatively, take your car from the secure lock up garage and drive along the beautiful False Bay coastline to the many beaches and seaside villages all located within a 15 minute radius. Cape Point, the tip of Africa where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet, is close by and a 30 min drive will get you to the Waterfront or set you on course for the spectacular Wine Routes. During August-November, False Bay plays host to scores of Southern Right whales, which come within 10 meters of the shore. Stroll along next to the sea near Seawinds and you will see these wonderful giants at close quarters and hear their unique hollow bellowing.
