Situated on the Ghaap Plateau, Moreson Guest Farm is an oasis in arid country, boasting an ever-flowing natural spring that creates a lush green environment. Our renovated guest house was built right next to this spring from rough stones by the first white settlers around 1880. A larger house was build nearby in 1955 and also provides accommodation to visitors in a typical local, homely atmosphere. For the more adventurous, shaded camping sites at the spring are also available.

Moreson Ranch is part of a Bonsmara cattle operation that spans over more than 10,000 hectares (26,000 acres). Experience a working cattle ranch, go horse riding, hiking and much more.

We offer a luxuriously renovated Old Stone House and a homely Farm House . Both the Farm House and the Old Stone House are furnished in African Country style with special attention to detail.

The Old Stone House was built with rough stones by the first white settlers around 1880. Although luxuriously restored, its original charm was retained. The large double bed in the Stone House is hand-made in Mozambique from teak wood. With two additional single beds, this house can sleep four persons. The antique bath, stone table-basin and outdoor shower not only takes you back in time, but also bring you close to nature.Our stone boma is situated right at the natural spring - a perfect setting for potjie kos or succulent steaks around the camp fire.

The Farm House offers four rooms, each with either twin or double beds, and can sleep a total of nine persons. Being the farm home of the Theron family, the typical African farm life style can be experienced here.

Situated on the Ghaap Plateau, Moreson is also the bush base of Ghaap Air; a perfect fly-in destination!
