Thandimvelo Mountain Retreat is a wonderful, peaceful, exclusive private selfcatering retreat situated in the Steenberg Mountains near Lydenburg.
There are 5 tastefully decorated Cottages/Rooms each with a small verandah overlooking the lovely mountains and valley. Three Cottages consists of a King Size bed or 2 single beds(You choose), 1 Cottage has a double and a single bed, and 1 Cottage has a King Size Bed and 1 single bed or 3 single beds (You choose)3 single beds. The minimum booking are for 8 people and the maximum 12 people. The Retreat works very well for groups, families or Teambuilding. The Kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of. There are 3 braai areas, one in the lapa with bar counter linked to the kitchen, one in the open air boma and one under a huge Wild Fig tree.
Towels, shampoo, soap and kitchen soaps are all provided.
You can book a "Open Air Bush Bath for 2" or Spa treatments at Forest Creek which is situated only 700m from the retreat. This must be done in advance.
Rates
1 to 8 people:
R200.00 pp per night = R1600.00
9 - 10 people:
R180.00 pp per night = R1620.00 - R1800.00
11 - 12 people:
R170.00 pp per night = R1870.00 - R2040.00
