Situated adjacent to the Kruger National Park, this self-catering home offers you a wildlife paradise set in perfect bushveld surroundings. Fish Eagle Nest lies in the heart of Marloth Park, a uniquely established wildlife town, which is home to deer, giraffe, zebras, wildebeest, and various cat families.
This bushveld town provides easy access to the Kruger Park (20 min) drive to Crocodile Bridge, Maputo-Mozambique, and Jeppes Reef, which is an hour away. The Royal Swazi Casino is also within close proximity. Experience a breathtaking sunset from the balcony while sipping away a sundowner.
Enjoy many activities such as hiking, birdwatching and mountain biking (before five in the afternoon.) The main camp also provides tennis courts and a large swimming pool. You will also find the splash pool at Fish Eagle Nest to be an oasis on a very warm summer day.
The house is fully equipped and can accommodate 8 people with 2 double wildlife bedrooms, two bathrooms and 2 sleeper couches with cupboards upstairs. There is also an upstairs sitting room leading to the balcony, where one can enjoy a selection of wildlife reading material.
There are a few recommendable restaurants nearby as well as a grocery shop with basic necessities, a petrol station and a hardware shop.Be sure to bring along a pair of binoculars, as there will always be something interesting to investigate.
Important Information - This is a malaria area, and although equipped with mosquito nets, one should take extra precautions. Ask a pharmacist to assist you with the best advice. It is safe to explore by foot during the day but be home by 5 at night. Keep children in sight and never let them wander off alone.
