Hillbilly Haven is a rustic old farmhouse built in the 1940's. It was once the Post Office and the Mail Coach stopped there.

Hillbilly Haven is about 6km from The Coach House, which is now a 5 Star hotel. The present owner and his family bought the property in the 1960’s, and it was decided to convert the house into a self-catering guesthouse in 2003. Hillbilly Haven is about 14km outside the small town of Tzaneen and guests have easy access to a variety of outdoor adventures including quad biking, abseiling, tubing, paintball, canyoning, mountain biking, hiking, horse riding and more.

There are a multitude of historical and interesting sites within easy drive. We are also situated 1 ½ hours drive from the Kruger National Park. Guests can go sight-seeing or laze around the house and soak up the African sun and drink in the magnificent view of the majestic Wolkberg Mountains.

Hillbilly Haven is a 5 bedroom, 10 sleeper house complete with 2 bathrooms (each with shower, bath and toilet), dining room, lounge (with TV and a fireplace for those chilly mountain nights), fully equipped kitchen, and braai area overlooking the Wolkberg Mountains. There is plenty of secure parking available. A batchelor-style 2 sleeper unit is also available. (N0 TV)
