Phalaborwa borders the Kruger National Park, a great tourist destination. It forms a great base to explore this National Game Reserve, with the comfort of many accommodation options, restaurants and a shopping mall for convenience. The Lowveld, also known as Valley of the Olifants, has the highest winter temperatures in South Africa.
